About the event

Haunted Haddonfield 9.12.20 - 11.7.20 Our 6th annual Halloween exhibit “Haunted Haddonfield” opening September 12th and on view through November 7th. For our sixth annual Halloween exhibit, we are merging our highly anticipated Halloween movie tribute, Welcome to Haddonfield, with a joint show immersing the audience in the spirit and atmosphere of paranormal and haunted places. This year the gallery will be separating it’s 4 rooms into 4 art experiences of Halloween and the Paranormal.   HAUNTED EXHIBIT: People have fallen in love with haunted houses, ghosts stories, graveyards, and the paranormal. These places offer us a glimpse of what lies beyond the realities of what we see, carrying the energies of things beyond our perception and understanding. Time has weaved its stories into these locations thinning the veil between the seen and unseen, known and unknown, mortal and infinite. These stories exist outside of time, cherished through pop culture and old tales alike. From the Myers house in Halloween, the Sanderson house in Hocus Pocus, to the real life Witch House in Salem, MA, these haunted locations are full of mystery and allure. Haunted lifts the veil separating our physical world from the supernatural, bringing these spirits and hauntings to life through artistic and atmospheric depictions of stories untold. In this exhibit, our curated artists are revisiting and re-interpreting these beloved and spooky houses, locations, architecture, and more.

HADDONFIELD EXHIBIT: For the Welcome to Haddonfield portion of the show, we will be giving the horror fans everything they expect from us. A tribute to the Halloween films in the city that started it all, South Pasadena, CA aka the fictional town of Haddonfield, IL from film. Not to mention the exhibit is in a gallery located behind the original Michael Myers house, and walking distance from the many other filming locations from the first 2 Halloween films. #spooky
